Aka Madison’s photoshoot! My favourite subject is back, although strangely somewhat less interested in being photographed today. I had to question if this was the real Madison before me but she promptly threw some plastic balls at me and I knew it was her! Despite her apparent semi-reluctance, I think she was more than happy to pose and we got some great shots. I suspect this was somewhat helped by the presence of the TV screen opposite the shooting area so she could check herself out as I took pictures. Vanity is alive and well :D

Madison is now very camera aware. She directs the photo shoots these days! I remember when she was blissfully ignorant of the camera. But now she demands a look at the LCD screen after every frame, “Let I see!”. And she knows she’s being photographed too. At a recent trip to Marwell Zoo, she was working the camera baby!

Portugal with Kate, Sam and Madison

Keily and I went on holiday for a week with our good friends Kate and Sam along with Kate’s little girl, Madison. We had gorgeous weather and a small plot of villas essentially all to ourselves. May is a great time of year to visit Portugal. Not too hot, not too many other holidaymakers. Here are some shots from the week…
